My granny used to live in Crosshill ave. – the wee cottages over the back wall. Used to go there every day from school for my lunch in the 70s.

Never knew that was the original Hampden!

I shall follow your blog with interest!

I used to work in Kingsley Ave and spent many a lovely hour in the Rose Gardens. I never knew it was the old Hampden site. Will be following this dig closely. Hope you find some good stuff
