The first conference for 2013 was a great
success with a good turnout from both members and non-members of the Trust.
The speakers were very knowledgeable on their subjects and the presentations were well received by the audience.

The variety of topics were fascinating and gave a unique insight into the rich heritage and culture that Glasgow has to offer.

The Black Minstrelsy
(Dr. Eric Graham)

From Temperance to Happy Hour
(Alex Meikle)

Scotland's Magic Legacy
(Alex Proctor)

50 Years of Going to the Pictures
(John Black)

Pantomime Tradition at the Royal Princess Theatre
(Dr. Paul Maloney)

Memories of the Glasgow Apollo
(Kenny Forbes)

The feedback that we received regarding the conference has been very positive and we are planning on another similar
Event later in the year.

Many thanks for everyone who took part and attended on the day and we hope to see you all again at the next event…
